When our kids were babies, I had my hands full. They were two and a half years apart in age and a whole world of difference in personalities.
James was quiet. He stuck to me like glue. He would be in the kitchen when I was in the kitchen. In the family room when I was there and never strayed far from my side. I always said I was going to step on him. Our daughter was totally opposite! <g> I turned my back and she was gone. Upstairs, downstairs, she was seldom in the same room. I had to watch her like a hawk!
Our family was going thru a lot of change. My husband’s mother had been diagnosed with cancer about the time our daughter was born. We lost Mom when our daughter was 2 months old. So our daughter never knew her grandmother.
Years later, when our daughter had to create a family tree and history for a school assignment, I learned how much my daughter missed not knowing her Grandmother. We only have one picture of her with her Grandmother.
I had told our daughter that her Grandmother was very proud of her first Granddaughter. Grandma MaryAnne enjoyed her grandchildren so much! I just wish she could have watched her grandchildren grow and had been a part of their lives. But cancer took that away from us. However, I am determined that it won’t take away our memories.
That one picture is worth a thousand words. And priceless beyond words to our daughter! So where am I going to store that precious picture to preserve it forever?
I have found the perfect solution: private FOREVER Storage account! More on this option next week.
