I don’t know about you, but there are a lot of distractions in my life. If I allow them to get in the way of my goals, some things that are important to me fail to get done.
My family memories are important to me. I have to schedule time in my calendar to work on documenting the important events. I spent a lot of time in January and February documenting the disruptions of the winter weather. It was a difficult time because I had to reschedule several doctor appointments and missed chamber meetings. The grandkids were out of school. I didn’t have my normal routine.
Now that the weather seems to be more normal for the moment, I am focused on my goals. I made a slideshow for a friend who was having major surgery… hoping she would feel loved by the inspiring sayings, photos and scripture. I’ve also been organizing by People (Facial Recognition).
So how do you go about making time for organizing your memories? One Byte at a Time… yes, a little at a time. But it is necessary to make sure you touch it at least several times a week.
Step 1: Capture New Memories – what event are you or your children doing this week?
Start by simply capturing new moments today. Whether it’s a quick selfie, a snapshot of something beautiful, an event, or a meaningful video, take the opportunity to create new memories. Upload to your FOREVER account and write the story with the picture.
