Welcome to Heritage-Memories — Where Family Stories Come Alive!
I keep getting off track in writing these articles. Life just seems to take unexpected turns. I went to the doctor in early June expecting to learn if I had some kind of infection. They tested for COVID which was negative… but noted that my heart rate was extremely high. They sent me to the ER.
June was a lost month. The virus held on for a couple of weeks and the adjustment to medications did not go well. I spent July and early August adjusting to my “new normal.”
These changes have made me refocus on specific goals I want to accomplish. One goal which is highly important is recording family memories. Writing the stories that will allow future generations to know our family and especially our son.
This is a reminder that we never know what life may throw at us. Your story is important. Don’t put off writing or recording that video to let future generations be inspired by you. You may not think you have anything to tell but you do. My granddaughter has told me she “wants the stories.”
Now the mission is to write the stories, put them in book format, and store them safely in my cloud storage.
