This blog will focus on ways to keep family memories alive thru stories. I will share some ideas on how to organize, the tools I use and options to preserve these memories for future generations.
But why are these memories so important?
Today is our son’s 39th birthday. There will be no cake, no gifts, no celebration — you see; he isn’t here to celebrate; he lost his battle with cancer in 2015.
I wanted to start this blog in James’ memory and for all the children gone too soon. I have become very aware of how many parents have lost a child or two. For the bereaved parent, the greatest fear is our child will be forgotten.
Beyond that I also want to share ideas for saving your parents and grandparents stories as well as your own history.
So I begin a new journey — to help families preserve their stories. Especially for all those bereaved parents who need a way to tell their story. I will be sharing my journey in Heritage-Memories and hope you gain some ideas for saving your family memories.
